Precision is the key word of spraying, regardless of whether you use spray for cleaning or disinfection, for example of livestock buildings and food production facilities , or for controlling pests and weeds in your fields. Effective spraying is about applying the right amount of spray to the right spot. The pesticide spray will have a small effect, if you only spray every other plant or half of the plant. And it will have no effect if you miss the plant and spray the ground instead.
How do you measure spraying efficiency?
It is difficult to determine whether a certain spraying method is in fact effective. In order to be sure, all droplets sprayed on the plants should be systematically recorded – in terms of number and location. The best solution is often to spray many small droplets evenly onto the plant. Sometimes it may, however, be important to spray the underside of the leaves or perhaps the underside as well as the upper surface.
What do you do? You put on your boots, take your camera, go into the field and take pictures. Then you go home, turn on your computer, take your magnifying glass and start counting – one, two, many! Obviously, this method is quite time-consuming and rather boring.
Easy and accurate counting

This solution allows the computer to count the droplets for you once you have transferred the photos from camera to computer. This is easier, faster and more accurate than manual counting. The software tells you the number, size and distribution of droplets. The droplet counter can also be used to count other things such as particles or specific occurrences of patterns which can be used for identification purposes and much more.
